Focus, draw and get instant feedback on new RV site

There's a nifty new site by Scott Davis to practice RV with quick feedback:  RV Practice Site

I tried the revised version just now and got this. No cooldown, just a quick focus on what the target might be, grab the mouse and draw. You can also enter text data if you like. Considering I drew it with my non-dominant hand, I'll take it.

It illustrates one of the kinds of sketching error Ingo Swann discusses in his seminal book - "Natural ESP: A Layman's Guide to Unlocking the Extra Sensory Power of Your Mind" (1987 and hard to find a copy).  I'll be presenting on this subject at the Applied Precognition Project Conference/Webinar/Workshop in Las Vegas starting June 19.

Example of an ARV drawing for the Applied Precognition Project in May 2013. The drawing, while crude, captures two of the main features of the "Wild Card" photosite: the horizontal lines of the artificial snow and small black figures. The third major feature, the ski lift, does not appear in the session data (this is not uncommon). The entire session took less than 10 minutes. This match was striking enough for me to score this Wild Card session 5.0 (high) on the 7-point Targ scale, suggesting that this session matched the photosite that did NOT actualize (the "Wild Card"). This implied that the other session and photosite represented the actual outcome of the event. The judges scored a hit on this event by picking the event associated with the other photosite. Red Sox Anthem

This blog is about Music (composing), Politics and Remote Viewing (MPRV) and it's about time for my first post on music.

I'm a very long-time Red Sox fan and made a video titled "Red Sox Anthem". I composed the music in a program called Notion, which is one of the very best - if you know anyone who wants to or does compose music. Notion works with music notation and has a very user-friendly note entry system, samples of the London Symphony Orchestra, a good mixer, and many other fine features.

I posted it to Youtube and it now has about 1100 hits. I guess people are surfing "red sox" now that the season has begun. This is a tad short of the 300,000,000+ hits that Lady Gaga's Bad Romance has. But what's a poor boy from Beantown to do?!

An example of remote viewing: The Nina Reiser Case

Although remote viewing has been in the public eye since about 1995, after all these years, it is difficult to find online a detailed report of a real world remote viewing project with a confirmable objective or target. The following is one such report.

The Aurora Remote Viewing Group (2006-2009) remote viewed the disappearance of Nina Reiser and we compiled the following extensive report. I was the project manager.

The report covers the basics of RV with examples from sessions in the context of our efforts to assist in solving the tragic disappearance of Nina Reiser.

Unitary ARV

Traditional ARV (Associative Remote Viewing) suffers from a phenomenon known as displacement. This occurs when viewers get data from both of the target photosites or from the photosite that does not match the correct outcome.

Don Walker and I and others in the Aurora Remote Viewing group developed something we call Unitary ARV in an attempt to overcome this problem. In UARV there is only one actualized target. Don and I wrote articles for Daz's 8 Martinis web zine, summing up several years of experiments with Unitary ARV, both before and within the Aurora Remote Viewing group. (Link to 8 Martinis is in the right hand column of this page.)

We have recently joined with Marty Rosenblatt and other viewers and formed the Unitary ARV Group (or 1ARV), which is exploring unitary ARV with enhanced methods. Initial results are very promising, including two correct predictions for the Packers-Steelers Superbowl by the public viewing component.

Marty has customized his Precog10 web page to allow the public to take part in Unitary ARV work.

Welcome to MPRView !

Music, politics and remote viewing may seem an unlikely combination. But these have been my passions and so here they are, together.

Although the bubbles above indicate otherwise, the blog will be mainly about Remote Viewing. Why? Because it is profound and paradigm-challenging. Amazing, subtle, unexpected, at the margins of current science, but very real indeed. (Check out TKR for the best online RV portal.)

For a very comprehensive lists of links to remote viewing sites, please see the Links section of the blog. I will update the list from time to time.

Although Remote Viewing - and the image above - may seem romantic, 'new agey', I did devote more than 20 years to Left politics, activism and theory too - very earthbound indeed! To my mind, each has something to contribute to bringing about a better world. If we can but do it.

Then the big bubble - Music. I've always liked rock and classical music and I love to compose ("modern classical"). Nothing I'd rather be doing, actually.

Finally, I have spent many years typing away - as a medical transcriptionist, now fully (Feb. 2010) retired. Out of that work grew my web site on typing productivity, including ABCZ Software. Anyone who does repetitive typing may want to check out the site (see Links).
